SOC 2 audits review the Service Organization Controls (SOC) that an organization deploys to protect its customers’ assets. The Type 1 variation includes a review of the policies and procedures that form a compliance program’s backbone. Meanwhile, the Type 2 variation does the same, including a detailed review of evidence that the compliance program is performing according to these defined policies and procedures.
An independent auditor performs SOC 2 audits according to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards.
ENPOINTE uses an AICPA-approved auditor to provide independent SOC 2 Type 2 audits annually.
